Balmoral Hall is an independent school for girls from Junior Nursery to Grade 12. The School encourages girls to discover their passions in academics, arts, and athletics, while welcoming boarding students from around the world. Balmoral Hall inspires the imagination and courage to reach, to lead, to care.
We invite applications for the following positions:
Junior School Dance Teacher
- 0.8 FTE, permanent
- Strong background in ballet and jazz, and facility with choreography for children
- Ability to teach dance techniques, and to foster student creativity
- Dance experience in early years education an asset
- Direct experience with TEAMS/SeeSaw is an asset
Middle School Teacher (Grade 7)
- Full-time, term from September 2025 to June 2026
- Able to teach all Grade 7 student curriculum with an emphasis on English and Humanities specifically
Debate Teacher/Coach
- Full-time, permanent
- Able to coach debate
- Able to teach public speaking and debate to middle and senior school students
- Debate coaching outside of the timetable is required (afterschool and weekends)
Senior School English and Humanities Teachers
- Full-time, permanent
- Able to teach senior school English and Humanities courses
- Able to teach Advanced Placement English courses
All teaching roles require a valid Manitoba Teacher's Certificate and a Bachelor's degree in Education. Successful applicants must also demonstrate experience and capability in extra-curricular activities and will be expected to perform other duties as assigned. Satisfactory criminal record and child abuse registry checks are mandatory.
