OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Full-time (100%) Term Position
2025-2026 school year commencing September 2, 2025 to June 30, 2026
To provide quality Occupational Therapy services and enable successful school functioning for students with physical, developmental, attentional, sensory, mental health and learning challenges.
Qualifications:
- A valid School Clinician's certificate issued by Manitoba Education or be eligible to obtain said certificate
- Entry-to-practice academic credential in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM)
- Membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT) preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Skills, aptitude and knowledge to work effectively with groups and one-on-one with students, staff and caregivers
- Ability to liaise with outside agencies to provide services to students and caregivers
- Previous experience with children or youth preferred.
- Additional training and experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities considered an asset.
